RequirementMembership in the AMA is a requirement to become a member, or to fly as a guest at DeVore Field.
The Academy of Model Aeronautics is the national body for model aviation in the United States. It provides the liability insurance that covers our members and guests at the field, publishes the AMA Safety Code that our field rules build on, and represents the hobby with the FAA.
